• Guiding students to understand the topics they bring to each tutoring session. 
• Encouraging students to engage actively with their topics to build deeper understanding. 
• Helping build student confidence in their ability to learn and to understand challenging concepts. 
• Finding out the learning needs or weaknesses of a student in a particular topic and addressing those weaknesses through constant drills for mastery. 
• Making sure all asynchronous tasks are completed and submitted on time.
• Using state of the art online tools such as an interactive whiteboard, voice and chat communication, and application sharing. 
• Classifying each session according to the scope and sequence of the topics discussed. 
• Changing lives, one at a time.

Many types of professionals have found full-time and part-time remote work as an online tutor with KOMuM:

• Must have good & stable internet connection
• Must have headphones with noise cancellation/reduction 
• Must have a desktop or laptop with clear video camera (teaching through mobile phone is not allowed)
• Must have a quiet and well lit space with plain background(preferably white)  

Students will be assigned to you that is why it is important to keep your lines open. We will communicate the details about the student and set an agreeable schedule with you. However, we would need you to confirm your availability immediately. The first tutor who confirms availability gets the student/s.

Our convenient online classroom lets you tutor from your home, office, dorm or from any computer with a stable, high-speed internet connection. No travel expenses necessary!

You are paid a set hourly rate dictated by the subjects you tutor. Unlike private tutoring where you must deal with potential delays from clients, payment comes on a set schedule directly from KOMuM. More information on our pay structure will be provided once you have successfully completed the requirements and passed the interview phase of the application process.
